Characters 4. Dungeons 5. Misc 6. Contact info ========== 1. HISTORY ========== 06-21-06 Version 1.0 (There's enough information to complete the game here and on the general system, if you want item lists and things like that, offer some translation help.) ============== 2. GENERAL ============== ------------ Introduction ------------ Galzoo Island is a spiritual successor to Rance 6 (I believe it uses the same engine). The story is about an evil squid baron who was powered up, but in exchange for that power, he can only mate once every... long period of time. He has brought several Gal Monsters to his island (they originated from the Rance series, but can be seen in several other Alicesoft games.) to pick his bride. You play the red-head Leo who's a monster-trainer, and you need to defeat him by capturing the Gal Ms and having lots of H in the mean time. ----------------- Starting the game ----------------- When you start the game, you have the option of choosing either "Normal" (top choice) or "Simple" (bottom choice). This walkthrough will focus on Normal mode, so the simple mode are as changes (normal mode stuff can be found in the rest of the walkthrough) -Your rival will always capture the last monster remaining per week at 8AM on the day you have 1 monster left. This almost gurantees that you will never capture all the monsters, unless you manage to both enter the dungeon AND encounter + capture that monster really early. - You won't die even if you lose in battle and get a Game Over and if you run out of time, it'll automatically roll back. Because of the first change, it's pretty much impossible to get the harem ending on this mode, so I recommend playing Normal. If this is your second (or more) playthrough, you also have the option of carrying over your transmigration bonuses and Plupet shop inventory, although some items won't carry over in this manner. Everything else goes poof unfortunately. --------- Game Flow --------- Morning Events - You may visit dungeons for foraging (without actually entering the dungeon). For foraging, if you forage immediately at the start of the day, it will give you one of the item required for making transmigration potions, if you do not have 1 of each part already. Otherwise, each dungeon will have one item which you will always get when foraging. You may also visit Plupet's shop, Kusushi's lab and Vanilla's room. Kusushi will allow you to combine several items to form useful items, while Vanilla will allow you to level up Leo. Levelling up Leo also increases all girls in his current party, so it is more useful for that purpose. Dungeon Crawling - Note that if you forage too much in a day, the day will just end and you won't get a chance to do this. This is a complete waste of a day, so never have that happen to you. Even if you captured all the monsters in the current dungeon already you can still have a head-start on the rest if you complete early. Otherwise, this is the meat of the game and will be covered in the next section Night events - At night, you may talk to a Gal to raise her affection for you by 1 point, or if the affection is full, bring the relationship up to the next level. You may also get special events, depending on the Japanese Characters over the Gal's heads. This is also the time where you get the H-events, everyone's favourite. Finally Kusushi will cure Gal's of their sickness if you ask her here and NOT H her. ---------------- Dungeon Crawling ---------------- Dungeon crawling takes place in a first-person 3D view (quite similar to the old Shin Megami Tensei series.) While wandering, you will see several spots on the map indicating special events. Red Cactus-like object: Monster Encounter. Green Star: Forage spots. Allows you to receive items. Some spots are unique, only appearing once while others can be reharvested each time you revisit the dungeon. Heart: Either a Gal Monster Encounter, or an event with one of your girls. Other than the Green Star, these also appear on your mini-map if you need them. The Scout Eyes ability of several Gal Ms will make the Green Stars appear on your mini-map. ------------------------- Time-based Dungeon Events ------------------------- This is a general section for all time-based stuff in the game. The deadline for each dungeon is 7 days. On every Sunday 8 AM, Irina will capture a gal M that you have not caught (if you caught them all she doesn't get any). If all gal M are not captured by then, it is a game over, otherwise the deadline is pushed back another 7 days for the next dungeon. As you explore a dungeon, you will notice that some of your Gal Ms have blue unhappy faces. This means that the Gal M is in danger of falling sick and should be dropped from the party. If you continue using the Gal M, her face will turn to orange indicating sickness. This cuts down her stats and prevents any H-scenes from taking place. Sickness can be cured with a medicine item or asking Kusushi to cure them as a night-time event. Your characters will have to eat at certain times of the day. If you do not have the "Bento" item, they will starve and lose 50% of their hp. Otherwise their hp will be recovered to full. As the day turns to night, monsters will turn stronger. Once it is dark, they'll gain roughly 3x their HP and attack power! This is almost suicide unless you're revisiting an old dungeon, so try to leave before then. ------------- Battle System ------------- The battle system in this game is rather simple. Each team has a total HP made out of the combined HP of all members, and every round each team gets an attack of their choice. After the enemy attacks, a Gal M may have a chance to use one of her attacks as a counter assuming that she isn't currently a child. Proper rationing of attacks and elemental weakness/resistances will bring you through most of the battles, there's not much strategy to them. -------------- Plupet's shop -------------- Plupet is the alien merchant that sells you the hints needed to capture one of the gals in the Cliff (third) dungeon. After you meet him there, he will then relocate to the front of your ship. Plupet starts with a small selection of item, but you can increase his inventory by selling items to him. He adds whatever you sell him and then resells at a heavy markup price (about 5 times the selling price). Plupet has an endless supply of each item, so it may be a good idea for example, to sell him some capture ropes so that you don't have to harvest for the materials every time you run out of them. Among other things, Plupet starts off selling keys that unlocks many locked doors with treasures or events behind them, so make sure you buy a few of those. -------------- Transmigration -------------- Because of a curse from the Squid Baron, instead of becoming pregnant, the Gal Ms will instead revert to children. In gameplay, this is a method to improve your Gal Ms by giving them extra stats and abilities. First you will have to raise the girl's affection level to "love", the best way to do this is to bring them to battle with you, which is the fastest and cheapest way to raise your affection levels. When the relationship reaches "love", you can use a transmigration potion during their H-scene. Each potion adds a small amount of stats during the transmigration (Big potions add more stats) and each different colour of potion that you use allows you to choose 1 special ability for the girl. After transmigration, the girl will be in her child form for a few days. She will have only half her HP and will not counterattack, but will gain 2X the experience, making it a good way of catching up a low level character. Child form is also needed for certain quests in the game. The relationship counter will also reset and you will require more points to raise the level now. The Transmigration options are as follows (In order): - Unlocks the Gal's Combat Ability - Upgrades the Gal's first ability - Upgrades the Gal's second ability - Increases one of the Gal's elemental resistances. - Increases one of the Gal's defensive stats - Adds 5 more uses to the Gal's first ability - Adds 1 more use to the Gal's second ability Most of these can be taken multiple times, so if you want to add everything to your Gal's second ability, go for it. ============ 3.CHARACTERS ============ ---------- Leo (ƒŒƒI) ---------- Starting Level: 1 Attacks: 1. Žè‰ÁŒ¸UŒ‚(73): A weak attack. 2. ]–‚’´“ËŒ‚(3): Attacks with all members of the party. Resistances: Normal Comments: This is the main character, he's really weak and you probably won't be using him to attack pass the early stages of the game. 1 is a very weak attack that you will only use in the start of the game. If a girl monster is finished off with this attack, her requirements to capture will reduce by 1 heart. 2 attacks with all members of the party. Usually a generic attack that doesn't seem to be based on any stats, but certain combination of party members may cause additional effects. This attack cannot be used on girl monsters and Irina. Since you can't really remove him or anything, nothing much to say here. ----------------------------------- Captain Vanilla (ƒLƒƒƒvƒeƒ“ ƒoƒjƒ‰) ----------------------------------- Starting Level: 8 Attacks: 1a. UŒ‚(8): Physical Attack (Ice) 1b. UŒ‚2: Physical Attack (Ice) 2a. ƒ}ƒOƒƒAƒbƒp[(3): Physical Attack (Ice) 2b. •ƒ}ƒOƒƒAƒbƒp[: Physical Attack (Ice) Combat ability: Rare Item Drop Increases the chance of rare items received from battle. Field ability: Wall Breaker Character can break damaged walls to open new paths Resistances: Normal How to get?: Fight her in Dungeon 3 (Cliff) near the entrance And she will automatically join the party without capture. Comments: Generic fighter-type character whose set-up will be closely followed, who has one thing going for her. Her rare item drop ability is unique, as she is the only one in the game who has it. She has a higher than average HP growth, but not very good attack. She also benefits from the fish items that can be created by Kusushi to increase her attack power. However later in the game, the 20%/60% power boost items will overcome those. ---------------- Kusushi (ƒNƒXƒV) ---------------- Starting Level: 16 Attacks: 1a. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO2(8): Recovers HP 1b. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO3: Recovers HP 2a. “Å‹Ê“Š‚°(8): Physical Attack. Damage increases by 5% per “Å‹Ê in inventory 2b. “Å‹Ê2ŒÂ“Š‚°: Physical Attack. Damage increases by 5% per “Å‹Ê in inventory Combat ability: Growth Increase Increases EXP earned in battle by 50% Field ability: Poison Immunity You do not take damage from walking in poison pools. Resistances: Normal How to get?: Fight her in Dungeon 5 (Shore) near the entrance And she will automatically join the party without capture. Comments: Standard "Healer" character with Healing and one attack, this one does extra damage for each“Å‹Ê item in your inventory, which can be created by mixing. Otherwise it's a rather weak attack, so you might want to go with someone else unless you have a need for her combat ability. ------------------ Dungeon 1 (Forest) ------------------ ------------------------ Kyan Kyan (‚«‚á‚ñ‚«‚á‚ñ) ------------------------ Starting Level: 1 Attacks: 1a. —V‚ñ‚Å(10): 60% chance of paralysis 1b. ‚à‚Á‚Æ—V‚ñ‚Å: 80% chance of paralysis 2a. –hŒä•t—^1(10): Defense bonus. 2b. –hŒä•t—^2: Defense bonus. Combat ability: Growth Increase Increases EXP earned in battle by 50% Field ability: M Search Gives Leo the ability to fight an random battle with a button. Resistances: Strong to Fire, Darkness. How to get?: Extremely close to the start of Dungeon 1 (Forest), battle and rope. Comments: Certainly not a damage-dealer, this girl has several misc usage, such as Growth Increase and M Search and her Resistances. Her HP growth is also one of the better ones in the game so she's an excellent defensive character. I wouldn't actually command her to use her attacks in battle, but if they trigger, it's a nice bonus. Priority upgrades are her first attack, her Combat ability and her resistances. --------------------- Maid-san (ƒƒCƒh‚³‚ñ) --------------------- Starting Level: 1 Attacks: 1a. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO1(8): Recovers HP 1b. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO2: Recovers HP 2a. ƒƒCƒhØ‚è(5): Physical Attack + HP Regen bonus. 2b. ƒƒCƒhØ‚è‰ü: Physical Attack + HP Regen bonus. Combat ability: Attack Gift Increases Attack Power at start of battle. Field ability: Poison Immunity You do not take damage from walking in poison pools. Resistances: Normal How to get?: Watch 2 events near the farm, then fight and capture her in an event in the south-east section of the map. Comments: Your first healer, so you'll be using her for a while. Her combat Ability is Attack Gift, which is interesting for a healer anyway and early game she can dish out decent damage. The Regen buff is a nice bonus, but generally too slow to be of any use. Unfortunately the lack of Healing 3 will pull her down later in the game. ------------------ Yamorin (‚â‚à‚è‚ñ) ------------------ Starting Level: 2 Attacks: 1a. ƒLƒbƒN(7): Physical Attack. 1b. ˜A‘±ƒLƒbƒN: Physical Attack. 2a. ƒnƒCƒLƒbƒN(3): Physical Attack. 2b. SPƒnƒCƒLƒbƒN: Physical Attack. Combat ability: Recovery Gift Recovers a small amount of HP per round. Field ability: Mushroom Immunity You do not suffer the effects of walking on mushrooms. Resistances: Weak to Ice, Light How to get?: You need both Kyan Kyan and Maid-san first. Walk across The two poison puddles close to the farm and encounter her, then walk through the 2 mushrooms, which will cause you to lose your allies. However an event right before you encounter her again will restore them to you. Capture and rope. Comments: Generic fighter character, you'll use her early because of her Mushroom immunity skill. No elemental affinities, so nothing much to say. Replaced by Nekomatamata later. ------------------ Dungeon 2 (Subway) ------------------ ----------------- Sketch (ƒXƒPƒbƒ`) ----------------- Starting Level: 4 Attacks: 1a. ‚a‚¦‚ñ‚Ò‚ÂUŒ‚(9): Physical Attack + Attack Power bonus. 1b. H‚¦‚ñ‚Ò‚ÂUŒ‚: Physical Attack + Attack Power bonus. 2a. UŒ‚•t—^1(4): Attack Power bonus. 2b. UŒ‚•t—^2: Attack Power bonus Combat ability: Combat Intelligence Information on the enemy e.g weak points can be received. Field ability: Scout Eyes You are able to see foraging spots on the map. Resistances: Weak to Fire. How to get?: Encounter the 8000 hp monster and run from it. She will then appear as a random encounter or an event on the right section of the map Defeat and capture. Comments: Support character for your fighter-types? Combat Intelligence and Scout Eyes are nice the first time through the game, but can be replaced with memory-work on subsequent playthroughs. Probably will be replaced with Sexy Knight, since her Attack Power bonus is much better and so is her attack. From kaply (of the Gamefaqs board): if she's in your party when you get the lunch event, she'll draw a dog that will become an enemy you can fight in that dungeon. It's a pretty nice bonus since it's a static 150EXP regardless of your level. Not sure if you only get to fight it once per event or if it stays there permanently ---------------------------- Sexy Knight (ƒZƒNƒV[ƒiƒCƒg) ---------------------------- Starting Level: 4 Attacks: 1a. Œ•‚ÅUŒ‚(8): Physical Attack. 1b. ‰Î‰ŠØ‚è: Physical Attack (Fire). 2a. ”w…‚Ìw(2): 50% Attack bonus but removes other bonii. 2b. ”w…‚Ìw2: 200% Attack bonus but removes other bonii. Combat ability: Money Happiness Increases amount of money dropped by enemies. Field ability: Wall Breaker Character can break damaged walls to open new paths Resistances: Weak to Ice, Thunder. How to get?: Encounter her in the dark areas of the map on the eastern side of the map. You will need to get there from the west side. To capture her, you need a "flashbang" that can be foraged from the area or mixed up. Will appear as an random encounter after in the same area. Comments: Amazing fighter with her 2nd ability, 50% is way ahead of most bonus and 200% will allow you to deal thousands to boss monsters. The 2 usage kind of limits it's use but it'll still be extremely useful enough for you to take this character to the end game. ------------- Sour (ƒTƒ[) ------------- Starting Level: 4 Attacks: 1a. ‰Š‚Ì–î(5): Magic Attack. (Fire) 1b. ƒtƒ@ƒCƒ„[ƒŒ[ƒU[: Magic Attack. (Fire) 2a. —‹‚Ì–î(5): Magic Attack. (Thunder) 2b. ƒ‰ƒCƒgƒjƒ“ƒOƒŒ[ƒU[: Magic Attack. (Thunder) Combat ability: Magic Gift Increases Magic Power at start of battle. Field ability: Surprise Attack Canceller Enemies will not get the first strike on you. Resistances: Strong to Fire, Ice. Weak to Light, Dark. How to get?: There will be three "road" areas on the outside ring of the dungeon. Ride on them and she will fight you each time, running away soon. After the 4th visit, Valkyrie will appear and Sour will join your party. Alternatively, in a 2nd playthrough, it is possible to actually defeat her if Your characters have lots of abilities through transmigration. You can capture her then, but she has 8 hearts so it might be tough. Comments: First mage character. Nothing really interesting but with her Magic Gift, might Be worth putting in a party of mages. Otherwise a little too narrow for my tastes. ------------------ Dungeon 3 (Cliff) ------------------ --------------- Kameko (ƒJƒŽq) --------------- Starting Level: 8 Attacks: 1a. ƒJƒ‚ÁŽqƒpƒ“ƒ`(8): Physical Attack (Fire) + Defense bonus. 1b. “{‚èƒJƒ: Physical Attack (Fire) + Defense bonus. 2a. •¨—ƒJƒEƒ“ƒ^[(2): The next Physical attack is reflected onto the enemy. 2b. •¨—ƒJƒEƒ“ƒ^[2: The next Physical attack is reflected onto the enemy. Combat ability: Recovery Gift Recovers a small amount of HP per round. Field ability: Collection Effiency Character can harvest more items in forage spots. Resistances: Weak to Fire, Dark How to get?: She's in the southeast corner of the 3rd stage. Make sure you approach her from the west! You'll have to break a wall to do so, so bring someone with said ability. Fight her once and she'll run to the east and into a corner, then fight her again. Comments: Another defensive character with high hp but weakness to Fire may cause some problems. Her Counter ability is useful at some points in the game or at night when monsters have ridiculous HP and damage but overall she's not really worth carrying around all the time. ------------------------ Yama No Sachi (ŽR‚̃Tƒ`) ------------------------ Starting Level: 8 Attacks: 1a. Œõ‚Ì•€(8): Physical Attack (Light) + Hit Bonus 1b. Œõ‚Ì•€˜AŒ‚: Physical Attack (Light) + Hit Bonus 2a. –½’†•t—^(3): Hit Bonus 2b. –½’†•t—^‚Q: Hit Bonus Combat ability: Magic Gift Increases Magic Power at start of battle. Field ability: Mushroom Immunity You do not suffer the effects of walking on mushrooms. Resistances: Strong to Dark. How to get?: Found in the green southwest corner of the map. First, you need to beat 3 of the guys with magnets until Plupet appears in the south part of the map. Buy the sheet of paper with 7 on it from him for 500G, and then enter the green area. Use a spray can to make sure you get no encounters before entering the area, and then make it to the northwest corner of the area. She'll be there, fight her, and capture her. Comments: Nothing special IMO, I don't use her often, although you might consider taking her if you need resistance to Dark attacks I suppose. -------------- Konte (ƒRƒ“ƒe) -------------- Starting Level: 8 Attacks: 1a. ƒAƒ“ƒRƒN(9): Magic Attack (Ice) + Magic Power Bonus. 1b. ƒ`ƒ‡ƒEƒAƒ“ƒRƒN: Magic Attack (Ice) + Magic Power Bonus. 2a. ƒŠ[ƒ_[(15): "Reads the enemy mind". This is worthless 2b. ç—¢Šá: Reads name of enemy, his maximum Hit Points and Weak Point. Combat ability: Status Effect Immunity Grants immunity to Status Effects. Field ability: Poison Immunity You do not suffer the effects of walking on poison pools. Resistances: Weak to Light. How to get?: Go into the graveyard in the northeast of the map. While going through the map, you'll lose characters, so be prepared for that. You can either encounter her randomly or at the end of the graveyard. Fight her once, and you'll realize you can't rope her. Leave the dungeon and go to Kusushi, and she'll allow you to make a special kind of third rope (it has a blue glow to it). Go back, fight Konte again, use the special rope, and ta-da. Comments: Poison Immunity isn't as good as the others, because healing items can take care of it but Status Immunity may be a lifesaver for enemies who can paralyze your healer. The 2nd attack is nice but as usual, once you got it memorized it's worthless, so she technically only has one attack. ------------------ Dungeon 4 (Pyramid) ------------------ --------------------- Chouchin (‚¿‚å[‚¿‚ñ) --------------------- Starting Level: 12 Attacks: 1a. Œõ‚Ì–î(10): Magic Attack (Light) + Magic Defense bonus. 1b. ƒOƒŒƒCƒgƒ‰ƒCƒg: Magic Attack (Light) + Magic Defense bonus. 2a. MGƒJƒEƒ“ƒ^[(2): The next Magic attack is reflected onto the enemy. 2b. MGƒJƒEƒ“ƒ^[‚Q: The next Magic attack is reflected onto the enemy. Combat ability: Defense Gift Increases Defense at start of battle. Field ability: Surprise Attack Canceller Enemies will not get pre-emptive strikes in battle (i.e they won't attack first). Resistances: Strong to Light, Weak to Dark How to get?: Go up the stairs immediately to right of the entrance, and trigger a scene with her. After that (I think in a subsequent trip to the area), you'll see a scene of her being tortured. She then appears as a random encounter you can capture. Comments: The Magic version of Kameko I guess, but Magic attacks are even more rare than physical, so she probably won't see much use. ------------------- Frozen (ƒtƒ[ƒYƒ“) ------------------- Starting Level: 12 Attacks: 1a. •Xáá(5): Magic Attack (Ice). 1b. ƒVƒxƒŠƒA: Magic Attack (Ice) 2a. SƒŒ[ƒU[(3): Magic Attack (Ice). 2b. ƒXƒm[ƒŒ[ƒU[: Magic Attack (Ice). Combat ability: Recovery Gift Recovers a small amount of HP per round. Field ability: M Search Gives Leo the ability to fight an random battle with a button. Resistances: Strong to Ice, Weak to Fire. How to get?: You can encounter her in the dungeon early on, but just run away. Once you go through the third mirror, you can find her dog, then you can capture her succesfully. She'll be either a random encounter or an event in a room in the third mirror area. If you have not found the dog before capturing her, she'll just run away at night, wasting your time. Comments: Generic Magic User with affinity to Ice. Next monster! --------------------------- Nekomatamata (‚Ë‚±‚Ü‚½‚Ü‚½) --------------------------- Starting Level: 12 Attacks: 1a. ˆø‚Á‘~‚¢‚½(10): Physical Attack (Thunder) + Increased Chance of Critical. 1b. ˆø‚Á‘~‚¢‚½‚Q: Physical Attack (Thunder) + Increased Chance of Critical. 2a. ‰ž‰‡(3): Increases the number of Attacks of your other Gals by 1. 2b. ‰ž‰‡‰ž‰‡: Increases the number of Attacks of your other Gals by 2. Combat ability: Combat Intelligence Information on the enemy e.g weak points can be received. Field ability: Mushroom Immunity You do not suffer the effects of walking on mushrooms. Resistances: Weak to Ice, Light. How to get?: Trigger an event scene with her right after going through the second mirror. Then she starts showing up as a random encounter you can capture (it'll probably take you more than one try to rope her succesfully). Comments: Would be a generic fighter, if it wasn't for the extremely awesome 2nd abiity. Makes a good team with Sexy Knight or Sulphur and is my main choice if you need a character for Mushroom Immunity. She will run away several times because of her bad attitude, the first time, she will return by herself in a few days but the 2nd time, you will have to rescue her from a trap in the first dungeon. Bring a transmigration potion along, since it's a h-scene. ----------------- Dungeon 5 (Beach) ----------------- --------------------------- Shabu Shabu (‚¿‚á‚Õ ‚¿‚á‚Õ) --------------------------- Starting Level: 16 Attacks: 1a. —°Ž_…(10): Physical Attack (Ice). 1b. ”Z‚¢—°Ž_…: Physical Attack (Ice). 2a. ’Ôg(2): Physical Attack (Ice), but also hurts your team. 2b. 57”N’Ôg: Physical Attack (Ice), but also hurts your team. Combat ability: Status Effect Immunity Grants immunity to Status Effects. Field ability: Underwater movement Allows Leo to walk in water without drowning. Resistances: Weak to Fire, Thunder. How to get?: She appears as a heart event really early in the dungeon, but if you fail to capture her then, she'll become a random event. You may only fight her if you have 50% or less of your max hp, otherwise she'll just comment on how healthy you are and leave, so you might want to leave the event alone until you achieve that condition. The best way to reduce yourself to that amount is to bring no food on purpose, which will cause your team to starve and lose half of their HP. Comments: She's creepy looking and suicidal, but she's one of the only two characters with the ability to move under water, so you probably have to use her at some point. Be extra careful with your HP when using her. ------------------ Zukappa (ƒY‚©‚Á‚Ï) ------------------ Starting Level: 16 Attacks: 1a. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO2(5): Recovers HP 1b. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO3: Recovers HP 2a. —t‚Á‚σrƒ“ƒ^(8): Physical Attack (Light) 2b. ‚µ‚肱‚¾‚Ü: Physical Attack (Light) + Chance of Instant Death? Combat ability: Combat Intelligence Information on the enemy e.g weak points can be received. Field ability: Underwater movement Allows Leo to walk in water without drowning. Resistances: Weak to Thunder How to get?: At night, there'll be an event right near the first boat at the southwest part of the beach. After that, she'll show up as a random encounter, or in an event on the southeast part of the beach. Because you fight her at night, she will be stronger than usual, don't fight her TOO late or it's suicide. Comments: Another Healer character, now this one has the ability to swim! Her secondary attack is rather weak so you probably won't be using it although the chance of Instant Death is nice. ----------------------- Umi No Sachi (ŠC‚̃Tƒ`) ----------------------- Starting Level: 16 Attacks: 1a. ‚¨‚³‚©‚ȃ\[ƒh(6): Physical Attack 1b. ‹›—Þ–œÎ: Physical Attack + All Stats Bonus 2a. –‚–@•t—^(5): Magic Bonus 2b. –‚–@•t—^‚Q: Magic Bonus Combat ability: Magic Gift Increases Magic Power at start of battle. Field ability: Underwater movement Allows Leo to walk in water without drowning. Resistances: Strong to Ice, Dark. How to get?: In the underwater dungeon type area in the northwest part of the map. You need to have a group of nothing but children. You'll need one of the two swimming girls to be a child, and whoever else you want to help fight her. Go in, beat her, and capture her. There is a trick to fight her using non-child characters, first you need 4 child characters (use the "Kindergarden Hat"item to help you), then after you are past the currents that pushes you back, switch out all the children and then fight her. Comments: The secret character of the game. She's not required to complete the dungeon, but she will need her if you want the harem ending. As far as characters go, she's nothing impressive either. ------------------------ Dungeon 6 (Foggy Forest) ------------------------ ------------------- Hebi-san (‚Ö‚Ñ‚³‚ñ) ------------------- Starting Level: 20 Attacks: 1a. Šš‚݂‚«(9): Physical Attack (Thunder) + Attack Bonus 1b. Šš‚݂‚«2: Physical Attack (Thunder) + Attack Bonus 2a. –‚–@•t—^(3): Magic Defense Bonus 2b. –‚–@•t—^‚Q: Magic Defense Bonus Combat ability: Defense Gift Increases Defense at start of battle. Field ability: M Search Gives Leo the ability to fight an random battle with a button. Resistances: Strong to Thunder, Weak to Fire. How to get?: She appears as a random encounter but you can't capture her then. After you encountered her once, an event will appear at the end of a long, narrow mushroom-filled passage involving Irina and the flying baby thing. After that event, you can now capture her. Comments: If you have her in your party, the eyeball type monsters will suicide themselves giving you free exp and gold, but otherwise she's a generic fighter character. ---------------- Itamashii (Œ¾—ì) ---------------- Starting Level: 20 Attacks: 1a. ˆ¤‚̉Ì(8): Physical Attack (Darkness) + Paralysis + Extra damage to Hanawa 1b. Œƒˆ¤‚̉Ì: Physical Attack (Darkness) + Paralysis + Extra damage to Hanawa 2a. ‰ðœ–³Œø(5): I think this silences the enemy? 2b. ‰ðœ–³ŒøX: Ditto Combat ability: Money Happiness Increases amount of money dropped by enemies. Field ability: Scout Eyes You are able to see foraging spots on the map. Resistances: Weak to Thunder. How to get?: Go through the cave area in the western part of the map, and she'll be right outside on the other end. Note that while in this area, you'll take damage every step. It is possible that you might need to get the event where you find a poster of her on the floor before this can happen. Comments: Great for earning money and killing Hanawas, those are rare situations, so she's otherwise an average fighter character. --------------------- Magician (‚Ü‚¶‚µ‚á‚ñ) --------------------- Starting Level: 20 Attacks: 1a. ‰Î”š”j(6): Magic Attack. (Fire) 1b. ƒtƒ@ƒCƒ„[ƒŒ[ƒU[: Magic Attack. (Fire) 2a. ƒOƒŒƒCƒgƒ‰ƒCƒg(2): Magic Attack. (Light) 2b. ”’F”j‰óŒõü: Magic Attack. (Light) Combat ability: Full Gift Increases all Stats at start of battle. Field ability: Collection Effiency Character can harvest more items in forage spots. Resistances: Weak to Thunder. How to get?: Random Encounter in the forest. You'll see her looking for Leo about 3 times before she attacks you. If you do not capture her then, she'll retreat to a resting place, so check the map for any new heart spots that pop up. Comments: Generic mage character, except that her Combat and Field abilities are some of the better ones among the characters. Looks and personality are a winner too, so she's my choice of Mage character if needed. --------------------- Hazure Onna (‚Í‚¸‚ê—) --------------------- Not even going to bother with stats here How to get?: She's in the north part of the forest past the boss and near where you fight Irina, but you don't want her, really. Comments: Not only is she a joke character, she actively pulls your party down by forcing herself into your party with her crappy stats (unless she's a child which would be a waste of potions). Stay far far away except for a cheap laugh. ---------------------- Dungeon 7 (Great Wall) ---------------------- --------------------------- Touko-chan (‚Æ‚Á‚±[‚¿‚á‚ñ) --------------------------- Starting Level: 24 Attacks: 1a. UŒ‚(15): Physical Attack 1b. UŒ‚‚Q: Physical Attack 2a. ‘S—ÍUŒ‚(2): Physical Attack 2b. –ÅŽE: Physical Attack Combat ability: Hit Gift Increases Hit at start of battle. Field ability: Wall Breaker Character can break damaged walls to open new paths Resistances: Strong to Ice, Weak to Dark. How to get?: Fight her in around three events around the area. In the last event, I believe she'll automatically join you after a certain amount of rounds, although if you beat her before then, you can also rope and capture her. Comments: If there is a level of generic that's more generic than generic, she would be it. -------------------- Harimao (‚Í‚è‚Ü‚¨[) -------------------- Starting Level: 24 Attacks: 1a. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO2(8): Recovers HP 1b. ƒq[ƒŠƒ“ƒO3: Recovers HP 2a. jUŒ‚(8): Physical Attack (Light) + Paralysis + HP Regen Bonus. 2b. jUŒ‚2: Physical Attack (Light) + Paralysis + HP Regen Bonus. Combat ability: Magic Defense Gift Increases Magic Defense at start of battle. Field ability: Poison Immunity You do not take damage from walking in poison pools. Resistances: Weak to Ice. How to get?: In the northeast part of the map. Go to her with a sick girl in your party, fight her, and capture her. Comments: It's an upgraded Maid-san, and probably the most combat worthy healer by that time, you might still want to use the other Healers for other purposes though if you do not require her fighting abilities. ------------------ Sulphur (ƒTƒ‹ƒtƒ@) ------------------ Starting Level: 24 Attacks: 1a. UŒ‚(10): Physical Attack (Darkness) 1b. ‚·‚΂₢UŒ‚: Physical Attack (Darkness) 2a. ‹}Š‘_‚¢(2): Physical Attack + Instant Death 2b. ˆÃŽE: Physical Attack + Instant Death Combat ability: Combat Intelligence Information on the enemy e.g weak points can be received. Field ability: Scout Eyes You are able to see foraging spots on the map. Resistances: Strong to Fire. How to get?: In a house near the South-East of the map. Beat and capture her. Comments: After the 2nd attack is upgraded, it will most likely insta-kill most random battles in the game, but even if you pump all her upgrades into having more 2nd attacks it probably won't last the dungeon, so be sure to pair her up with Nekomatamata. Also not great on anything that won't die to her 2nd attack, so leave her out of boss battles. ------------------ Dungeon 8 (Volcano) ------------------ --------------------- Valkyrie (ƒoƒ‹ƒLƒŠ[) --------------------- Starting Level: 30 Attacks: 1a. Žè“(5): Physical Attack + Attack Bonus 1b. ”j“SŽè“: Physical Attack + Attack Bonus 2a. ÕŒ‚ƒpƒ“ƒ`(3): Physical Attack that ignores Defenses 2b. “Á‘åÕŒ‚ƒpƒ“ƒ`: Physical Attack that ignores Defenses Combat ability: Status Effect Immunity Grants immunity to Status Effects. Field ability: Surprise Attack Canceller Enemies will not get the first strike on you. Resistances: Normal. How to get?: At the start of the dungeon, as soon as you walk out of the twisty little passage you start out in, turn around and she should be back inside (Tricky!) Comments: Keep away from Sexy Knight as I believe her ability will cancel it out, because of that I won't use her even though she seems to have really good defensive abilities, such a shame. ------------------------ Kaminari Daikou (—‹‘¾ŒÛ) ------------------------ Starting Level: 30 Attacks: 1a. —‹Œ‚(8): Magic Attack(Thunder) + Paralysis? 1b. “d‹CƒVƒ‡ƒbƒN: Magic Attack(Thunder) + Paralysis? 2a. LƒŒ[ƒU[(2): Magic Attack(Thunder) 2b. ƒƒ^ƒ‹ƒ‰ƒCƒ“: Magic Attack(Thunder) Combat ability: Status Effect Immunity Grants immunity to Status Effects. Field ability: M Search Gives Leo the ability to fight an random battle with a button. Resistances: Strong against Thunder. How to get?: Disable all of the red stars in the area, one in each of the corners (except the corner you start from). The two in the west you will have to reach by breaking walls, so have someone with you who can do that. You'll fight her in front of each red star, and after the last she joins you. Comments: It's a generic mage with an affinity to thunder attacks. I think I'll dock her some more points for annoying you throughout the game. -------------------------- Battle Note (ƒoƒgƒ‹ƒm[ƒg) -------------------------- Starting Level: 30 Attacks: 1a. UŒ‚(6): Physical Attack. 1b. UŒ‚2: Physical Attack. 2a. ípŽwަ(2): 5% Bonus to All Stats. 2b. ípŽwަ2: 10% Bonus to All Stats. Combat ability: Full Gift Increases all Stats at start of battle. Field ability: Trap Immunity You do not suffer the effects of walking on traps. Resistances: Normal. How to get?: The last character of the Volcano area, after you have capture the others, you can defeat her and she will join. Comments: The best support character ever, not only does her 2nd attack increase every stat, she also has the Combat ability to add onto it. Her Field ability is also needed in the final dungeon. Additional points for having awesome music and character design. ------------------ Second Playthrough ------------------ Several characters only appear during the 2nd playthrough as bonus characters, I do not have any information of them yet, but they appear randomly throughout the whole game and may be found in set locations in the final dungeon. ========== 4.DUNGEONS ========== Note that most of the game puzzles involve capturing the girls, which is already in the "Character" section. This section is for events and puzzle that don't relate to capturing the girls. ---------------- Stage 1 (Forest) ---------------- - After capturing Maid-San, enter the house to visit the Hanawa leader, who will give you a mission to defeat all of the Hanawa loyalist spanning the entire game(They have this distinctive style and jacket). Your reward for this is equipment that raises Leo stats by a lot, although by that time you probably don't need it. - After an event, the faces of trees on the walls will start to speak or attack you. You can kill them if you want and it's probably one of the better ways to earn cash. ---------------- Stage 2 (Subway) ---------------- - There are several "roads" that transport you over the place, although the ones with sumo wrestlers on them can't be used. - Yoko, the fairy in the water fountain will give you a quest to get an autograph from one of the living trees in the 1st dungeon. You will need to make some paper in Kusushi lab and then go to the living tree in the top right of the forest. Your reward is a whip that I believes increase Leo's attack. Eh. - This is the first dungeon where you have to fight Irina, your rival. Irina can cause Paralysis often and if you miss capturing anyone, she will grow stronger. So don't let her get anything if you can help it. - After beating Eleanor, you will get a key which allows you to unlock some doors in the corner of the map. After beating a mid-boss, you'll get a ladder which allows you to progress to the next dungeon. --------------- Stage 3 (Cliff) --------------- - You meet Plupet here after defeating a few of the Magnet enemies and he is essential to capturing one of the girls - Bring characters with Wall Breaker to this dungeon, there's lots of them to be broken. - This dungeon has the first boss with the ability to instantly kill one of your character, rendering him useless until the next day. Very very annoying, kill him quickly (and any enemy that has the same sprite as him later on) - You need Konte in your party to get past the spirit of the dead rat, but if she is captured by Irina, the ghost will be gone. When you read the bookshelf past her, the next dungeon will be unlocked ----------------- Stage 4 (Pyramid) ----------------- - For some reason this is one of the toughest dungeons in the game despite being so early, it is wise to get a head-start by finishing the earlier dungeons fast. - The key to this dungeon is the mirror-like devices on the right side of the map, first you got to awaken the mummy (who appears as just a bandage before that) by giving him some water (I believe it is the last choice). After that he will offer to read any lithographs you bring him. - The first lithograph is behind some breakable walls, so have someone who can do that. - The lithographs will power one of the middle room with the eyes with it and certain characters are needed to unlock H-scenes and the mirrors. The mirrors are transporters to bring you to the other parts of the dungeon, which contain more lithographs, repeat. - Eventually you will come across a bridge. The first one can only be crossed with Leo, Konte, Sour and any child characters, so ditch any other characters and cross the bridge to hit the switch. Don't worry about losing them because there's a character that can restore them past the door you unlocked. The 2nd bridge is a trick and you have to drop off it, and Irina will unlock the door for you. --------------- Stage 5 (Beach) --------------- - This dungeon is actually made up of two parts, an above water and an under water dungeon. Be sure to capture the girls early since capturing all of them is not the only condition to clear this map. - There are boats you can use to move around the islands for the above water part, and it's not that difficult - When you go under water, you will have to fight Irina, and then you have to fight 4 "Current" bosses captured around the bottom floor to enter the temple. Bring characters with Darkness resistance along for this. - When this is done, you can enter the temple and watch the event to unlock the next stage. Don't confuse this with the conditions to capture Umi No Sachi, if you're being pushed back by currents and you already defeated all 4 bosses, you're probably in the wrong place. ---------------------- Stage 6 (Foggy Forest) ---------------------- - The Irina fight necessary to clear the stage is behind a monster pumpkin like boss. Trying to fight him is impossible because he will regenerate his hp fully every turn so you will have to run away. - What you must do is defeat the 4 "roots" in the walls scattered around the dungeon. Examine it multiple times after you have engage the pumpkin in battle to start a fight. After you have done this, the pumpkin's regeneration ability will be deactivated and you can defeat him. -------------------- Stage 7 (Great Wall) -------------------- - At a certain part of the dungeon, you will be teleported into a prison-like area without your Gals and you cannot use the escape item. Just watch the scene with Irina and follow the path and you should be out of the dungeon. Remember to resemble your party after this because they will all be removed. - The room to complete this dungeon is guarded by a spirit boss, and you will know it is by the 3 events in the room. Choose any one of them and a random enemy will attack you, then the dungeon will be clear. - For those of you who don't understand this scene, they are breaking in a weapon depot to get weapons to kill the Squid Baron. Unfortunately it was a trick all along and Irina is captured. ----------------- Stage 8 (Volcano) ----------------- - At the start of the dungeon, your map and I believe your items will be sealed off from you. You will have to wall break into 3 corners of the map and turn off the seals on the wall (I think they look like pentagrams) to remove this effect. - As you start the climb up the mountain to get to Battle Note, stock up on those sprays that negate enemy encounters as every time you fight one, the baby guy will take off one of your party members. You don't want weaklings fighting Battle Note. - After this stage, the timer is ticking down. Irina is put into the Gal M transformation machine to become the Squid Baron's bride. At every 8 am in the morning, Irina will undergo a transformation and in 3 days it will be complete, affecting your ending. Strangely enough this only applies when you go into dungeons, so you can forage outside all day long without any effect. -------------------------- Final Stage (Squid Palace) -------------------------- - All children will return to adults immediately upon entering this dungeon. - Put Battle Note in your party when you first enter the dungeon as she will pick up a key which will allow you to access the right part of the dungeon, which is where you need to go to complete it. - This dungeon requires you to pick certain characters to pass the trial rooms, you may want to put them in this order. - Room 1: Trap Room Use Battle Note to avoid the traps on the floor - Room 2: Mushroom Room Use a character with mushroom immunity. The floor is slippery so you need to find a path to get to the center of the room to hit the switch that unlocks the door to the next trial room - Room 3: Poison Pools Room Well, technically if you want to you can just heal yourself repeatedly with items rather than bring a character with poison immunity. Certain walls can be walked through in this maze-like room and you have to once again find a path to the middle which contains a switch etc. - Room 4: Underwater Room Get a character with the ability to move underwater BEFORE you open the door to this room and learn the hard way that you'll be kicked out of the dungeon. In this room, the currents will move you up or down and you will have to find a path to hit the switch in the middle and etc. - Room 5: Pitfall Room You will need a flyer, either Sour or Konte in this room to reach the switch. Actually I think there could be a path to reach it without falling in the holes, but just save yourself the trouble and bring one of those two along. - The fountain with Yoko after the trial rooms in it will restore all your characters and heal you. You may now start at this location when you reenter the dungeon. - The Torture Soldier is just past the fountain guarding the door to the Squid Baron. Defeating him (Bring dark resistance Gals) will cause the time limit of Irina's transformation to stop, so you probably want to do this ASAP. - The Squid Baron isn't that tough, but after the 2nd battle, he will re-emerge from the sea. DO NOT ATTACK HIM and just heal/defend yourself until an event occurs where the true boss is revealed. - The final boss isn't that hard, but his ability to decrease your levels (I think) is annoying, switch characters once in a while and defeat him quickly. Congratulations! Enjoy your ending. -------------- Secret Dungeon -------------- This dungeon is located under Irina's house after the 2nd playthrough of the game. It seems to operate on a different time than the real game, so you can spend all the time you want in it. It's filled with powerful enemies and you can't use the map function (Although the Alicesoft website does provide some maps), so have fun. I'm afraid I haven't completed this. ======= 5. MISC ======= ------- Endings ------- 1. Irina Ending - For this ending, you must NOT H any of your Gal Ms and Irina must not have transformed into a Gal M. Because of this condition, you should do this on your 2nd playthrough or more since transmigration is your main source of increasing power. This also prevents you from getting Umi No Sachi and thus the Harem ending. The Irina H-scene is really boring, what a disappointment! 2. Harem Ending - Capture all Gals, except Hazure Onna, and you will receive this ending. If Irina is transformed into a Gal M, you have a slightly different ending here. 3. Individual Ending - If you don't have all monsters, the girl who transmigrated the most will be chosen for the ending and give a short speech. Yeah, that's it. I believe there's a bug where if all the girls are at the same transmigration level, but you aren't getting one of the above two endings, where all the individual endings will be unlocked in the gallery. 4. Bad Ending 1 (Irina) - Surrender your Gal M when Kraken (the female squid) tells you to trade for Irina, and you will get this bad ending. 5. Bad Endings (Time Out) - Run out of time to capture the girls and you get these glorified Game Overs --------------- Random Comments --------------- - Disappointing h-scenes, the girls even bleed every time they repeat their h- scenes! Lazy work guys! - What? No using Irina as a Gal M? Considering she seems more interesting that way, that's also quite a disappointment. Could have thrown us a Irina as a Gal M H-scene too. - If you like the Gals in this game, check out the Rance series, Persiom, Dungeon & Dolls and other games by Alicesoft, although this is probably the happiest state you will find them in despite the fact that some of them get tentacled. --------- Thanks to --------- The Gamefaqs message and whoever else helped me in the making of this FAQ. ================ 6.
